On Thursday, the GPA JV Lacrosse team (0-4) hosted St. Augustine (1-3) in the Eagles’ closest game to date. The 4-0 loss was a competitive and physical game that left defense-man, Danial S, in the penalty box three times for a total three minutes. Ground balls snagged by Mario L., Angel V., and Miguel B. kept the game close. Stand out player, Claudio H., had 3 saves at goalie in the first half and was a threat as a midfielder in the second. Andres Arguelles had a fantastic debut at goalie for the second half with 4 saves. The next game will be at home on April 11 against Patrick Henry High School. GO EAGLES!
