Gompers Preparatory Academy (GPA) Eagles played away at King-Chavez High School on Wednesday, the 7th of May winning with a scoring festival by a final score of 14-0. The overwhelmingly hitting Eagles came to bat over 44 times at home plate. Soaring Eagles Uly Contreras and Victor Carachure-Rojo each scored three runs, Fernando Jaimes scored two runs, Eduardo Padron-Diaz scored a big home run, and finally Eduardo Carrillo, Daniel Soliver, Isaiah Zavala, Angel Martinez, and Abraham Alvarez each scored one run. No doubt being a shut-out game on King-Chavez, the Eagle defense was awesome, with Eagle Uly Contreras’ fine pitching arm leading the superb Eagle fielding.
