The Girls Varsity Volleyball team was victorious on Tuesday, September 16th playing Chula Vista Learning Community Center. The Cobras put up a fight but the lady Eagles rose to the occasion, winning 3-2. Outside hitter Kaylene S. was the player to watch with 15 service points and many attacks/kills. Among Kaylene, Kayla S. (opposite), Nyayiel L. (middle), and Nyabel T. (middle) also had several service points. Setter Julisa M. Guided the team with 16 assists. Overall, the lady Eagles had great communication, energy, and confidence, leading them to victory.

The Varsity Volleyball lady Eagles played Preuss on Thursday, September 10. Unfortunately, the girls lost 3-1. In their winning set, the team had high energy, enthusiasm, and confidence.

09.09.2015 GPA vs. Lincoln
On Wednesday, September 9th, the Girls Varsity Volleyball team challenged Lincoln High School. The girls lost 3-0. This was the first game the team played without their usual setter, Tarbina L., but quickly adjusted to setters Jazper L. and Julisa M.

Monte Vista Volleyball Tournament
Our girls varsity volleyball team competed in the Monte Vista Volleyball Tournament this weekend. The girls faced tough competition against Sage Creek, Southwest IV and Southwest SD. They defeated El Cajon Valley High School and Chula Vista Learning Community Charter to bring their overall record to 2-3. The girls face Lincoln High School on Wednesday September 9th at 3:30pm at Lincoln. Come out and support our Eagles!
