Thank you to those who made the drive to Escondido last night to see our Eagles take on the Caiman of Classical Academies. Our boys fought hard in the first round of CIF playoffs, but fell short of the victory. Our season is over, but our team represented well and played the entire season with a lot of heart!!

The GPA Eagles volleyball team defeated the CCPAA Eagles for the second straight time in 2 days. Leading the chargewere the hitters, Ivan M., Gerardo A., Luis A., and Pedro T., who made their presence known up at the net. The boys look to continue there win streak with games this week against Bayfront Charter and High Tech High SD.
04.14.2016 – GPA beat CCPAA, 3-2

The GPA Eagles volleyball team defeated the CCPAA Eagles in a battle of the birds. In a best of 5 series the GPA Eagles took the game down to the wire and won sets 2, 4, & 5 for an epic come from behind victory. No one player stood out overall as this was a true team effort that saw everyone make solid contributions. The GPA Eagles will face the CCPAA Eagles again, right away on Monday afternoon at the Golden Hill Rec Center.

The GPA Eagles boys volleyball team took a tough luck loss last night vs league rivals O’Farrell Falcons. Only a few points separated the 2 teams in a game that had the crowd on the edge of their seats. The boys never gave up and seniors Daniel G. and Brandon C. each led the team with solid back row play showing that they’re not afraid to dive and get a little dirty.
GPA beats Coleman Tech, 3-1!

The GPA Eagles Boys Volleyball defeated rival league opponent Coleman Tech for their first victory of the season. The game was won by large contributions from all players but the rookie members of the team stepped up in a big way with guidance from the returning veterans. Freshman Raul G. was a standout player throughout the game and junior setters John S. and Sergio C. set the pace for the WIN!
