Track & Field competed in league prelims on May 13th at Steele Canyon High School against all the teams within the Apollo League. We had some amazing performances and many of our athletes qualified for league finals! Xavier placed 2nd in league in the 100 meters and qualified for league finals in the 100 meters, 4×100 meter relay and 110 hurdles. Troianah placed 1st in league in both the 100 meters and 100 hurdles. She will be competing in the 4×100 relay, 100 meters, 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and 4×400 relay at finals! Way to show the H in REACH on a daily basis! Congratulations to Diana for placing 2nd in league in the long jump! She will also be competing in the high jump at finals. Both the girls and boys 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams will be competing in the finals as well as many of our throwers. Big shout out to Luis, Nathan, Nyabel and Nancy for placing in the tops spots for both the shot put and discus at league prelims. Come out and support our student athletes as they compete in league finals on Thursday 5/15 at Helix High School at 4PM!
