UCSD’s Triton Summer STEM Academy prepares select rising high school seniors through exploring campus life and academic disciplines related to STEM fields. The program culminates with an extensive UC application workshop.

The UCLA Acting and Performance Summer Institute is a 3-week intensive program for high school students in theater arts, encompassing performance training classes, movement-based techniques, guest workshops and field trips.
The Harvard Secondary School Program is immersive, collaborative, and transformative. As part of this program, Lizbeth and Muhammad worked alongside peers from around the world, earning Harvard credit for courses ranging from public speaking to journalism.
The Princeton University Summer Journalism Program aims to diversify college and professional newsrooms by encouraging outstanding high school students to pursue careers in journalism. Students from the program have gone on to write for college newspapers and major media outlets across the country.
Outdoor Outreach is a summer-long outdoor leadership training, followed by opportunities for part-time leadership positions within local non-profit organizations. The program gives young people a way to turn their passion for the outdoors into paid, working positions, such as guiding outdoor hiking, biking and rock climbing trips for high school students.

As part of the Girl Scouts Leadership Camp, Day Camp Aides (DCAs) and Counselors-in-Training (CITs) are campers in grades 7-12 who support younger girls in partnership with adult staff. These teen mentors take on leadership opportunities such as planning and leading activities.
The SAT & ACT Test Preparation Courses at the University of San Diego help students get into their dream college. The program has been helping San Diego’s students succeed for over 35 years.
