Our “Blue Rose”
Mr. Winters created the tradition of the Blue Rose Ceremony at GPA for Student-Athletes. On a senior’s last game of their high school career, Mr. Winters would personally present a blue rose to each senior as a symbol of gratitude to our senior athletes. Mr. Winters will always be remembered as our “blue rose” at GPA – a symbol of love and school spirit.
