Star of hit TV shows, Arrow, Teen Wolf, and The Gates, Colton Haynes is a friend of GPA and a strong supporter of public education. Haynes has visited GPA previously to tutor and mentor students and to promote the “Love is Louder” project, which is spreading positive messages to overcome bullying and discrimination. The Gompers Prep community is thrilled to have Haynes’ positive spirit on campus again today, Monday, August 26.
GPA students started their first day with a teachers & staff “flash mob” and shook hands with staff, teachers, the Director and Colton Haynes as they walked through the gates of wisdom.
GPA teachers prepared a wonderful Menu of Learning for the first day of school, to ensure our students are learning on day one.
In addition, our Class of 2014 Seniors participated in the annual Senior Commitment, which includes a commitment to Graduate and be accepted to a 2 or 4-year college.
This will be the third graduating class for Gompers Prep and students, parents, and staff are working for a “100/100 Three-Peat”–100% of seniors graduating and 100% accepted into a 2- or 4-year college.
